    Not really swimmable when we visited. River level seemed low but may be swimmable if the water level is a couple of feet higher. Water had a layer scum on it so didn’t look very enticing. A nice walk though. To get there cross the wooden bridge which is about 100 yards down the main road from the Leisure Centre in the direction of Thurlstone. Turn righ and walk by the river for about 150 yards
