Really excellent treatment throughout, from the 111 call, via ambulance to A&E, Medical Assessment Unit, CT scan, Surgical Assessment Unit, overnight stay, emergency keyhole surgery, post-operative care and same day discharge minus my gallbladder. Everyone from cleaner to consultant was exceptionally courteous, caring, responsive and carried out their jobs really well. I can't thank them enough for the care I have received.

Kept saying it’d be an hour and half for blood results but waited 5 hours and even then had to ask nurse myself waste of time . My pre assessment they put in Canula and said not to eat or drink but 5 hours passed and had to ask nurse if I could eat and she said yes , so starved myself for 5 hours making myself feel worse . After all this wait and being told I’d be put on an IV for hydration was then told I wouldn’t get any help . And had to keep asking for cannula to be taken out so I could just go home .So spent a total of 7.5 hours in an and e for no reason . Absolutely ridiculous

Biggest pain is the parking. Shouldn't be a 30 min queue for every car park, especially not mid morning. One way system doesn't help at all. Quite the opposite, makes people go all the way around when a carpark is full. Really poor design. Hospital itself is missing key signposts to help people navigate.

The wait in the emergency room for children under 18 is absolute balderdash. Never have I ever had such a time-consuming period in this hospital. Normally it’s in a click’s time! But for this particular day, it seems that the exception wasn’t available. Oh, no. Instead, they put us in a 10 hour wait and leave us to question the hospital’s actual purposes. This is genuine preposterousness and utter nonsense. I think it’s time this place cleans up it’s scheduled timing! It’s not also me complaining about this, it’s also the other people everyday suffering in this infinite loophole. Do I care to elaborate further? I think not.

Great hospital, busy as usual, and parking was an issue. If you need to park at the hospital, I recommend you go earlier than your appointment, find a parking space, then have a drink in one of the coffee shops.
