David & Neil at Ringmer Joinery have made & fitted French doors & 2 sash windows with Heritage slimlite glazing - they look fabulous & are very well crafted. The Accoya timber is more expensive but has a 50 year rot warranty so will outlast me! Definitely built to last! David was supremely helpful in the run up to production & then Neil & Darren fitted all 3 in just 2 days with hardly any snagging. Top job.

Paid £5k deposit 4 Oct for 7 windows and 2 doors. Provided architect drawings and agreed to update final measurements in February for March production. Advised final measurements (minor amendments)as promised last week. Ringmer Joinery told me they are very busy and could not produce joinery till June. Had to cancel as this was not what was agreed. They hung onto £3315 as they claim 42 hours of CAD time. The 7 windows were all the same as was the 2 doors. My architect estimates the drawings would have taken no more than 5 hours maximum. Feel cheated. Realise can’t rely on verbal promises. Beware don’t take their word. Insist on getting it in writing
