We had a lovely stay in the farmhouse, what a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. The hosts Shirley and Melvyn are so welcoming and friendly. We loved the hamper as a welcome treat. It’s furnished to perfection and immaculately clean and has everything you need. I would 100% recommend.

We booked this farmhouse for a three generation family get together. It was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for 10 to sit down together for a meal and spread out to other sitting rooms if needed. Very well equipped kitchen and we loved the welcome items especially the home baked cake. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms and lovely bathrooms. I can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't provided. Great location in open countryside and lots of local information about walks and pubs provided in the house. A perfect weekend break.

This was our third visit and we are already booked in for next year. Rimmers is the perfect place for us to meet up with our two sons and their families each year, ten of us altogether, with plenty of space for everyone and separate rooms if required. The accommodation is exceptional, beautifully furnished with lots of personal touches, and everything you might need provided, just like home really, only in our case much better! Shirley and Melvyn are the perfect hosts and could not be more friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend it most highly!

Last week we stayed for four nights at Rimmers Farmhouse for a three generation get together and I can only say how wonderful a house this is for such a gathering . The kitchen facilities are fantastic with a large Aga for us old folk and a double oven/induction hob for the youngsters who want the immediate heat. It was just the sort of facility we needed for a large family celebration meal on the Saturday night and coped with too many cooks admirably! All the bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of space to unpack properly with cosy beds. I especially appreciated having a generous ensuite. On the ground floor there is plenty of seating and area big enough to let you spread out. A big advantage was the separate dining/lounge/TV/games area we could banish the children to , but not very successfully! Although the weather held out we couldn't really take advantage of the outdoor seating and the expansive patio area which was a shame. The local area is beautiful with a lovely walk straight from the house and great pubs and brilliant farm shop a short drive away. For a family outing Witley Court was great as it is the sort of stately home visit where the kids can do no damage! There were much appreciated treats awaiting us on arrival and Melvyn and Shirley are both lovely and very helpful. I can only highly recommend Rimmers Farmhouse with my only complaint being Melvyn's heating system is far too efficient! I cannot understand how anyone can be so unpleasant and mean minded as to give this property a 1star review and can only assume they haven't actually stayed here or came with 9 people they didn't like! We would love to return but perhaps with friends rather than family next time!!
