I have been riding at Yonder Farm with Sarah Williams for a year now.Prior to this, I had two horses, which over a period of years I competed successfully to a decent level. Having lost my mare two years ago & following serious knee surgery I hadn’t ridden properly for two years. Sarah has instilled confidence in my riding & despite being a somewhat older rider, I feel that my riding is improving. Yonder Farm is a beautifully maintained & presented yard which is a credit to Sarah & her team. The horse all have routines which are appropriate to their age,experience & level of training.They have plenty of time off & they are not ridden by too many riders. Sarah is a successful International Dressage Rider & I have been lucky enough to accompany her to some high profile competitions where she is well respected & popular amongst her fellow competitors. If you want to learn to ride,improve & develop your riding in a classical manner with a skilled,dedicated ,empathetic trainer who, “Has been there & done it” then I couldn’t recommend Sarah Williams & Yonder Farm highly enough.

There is so much I can say about this incredible lady. I have been riding on and off for many years for enjoyment, however I have learnt more in the 4 lessons I have had with Sarah than the years of lessons I've had previously. The fears and blocks I have acquired through a serious accident have vanished! Sarah takes so much time understanding you and adapts her instruction to suit the personal emotional and physical needs of her students. Her love care and compassion for her horses and animals is remarkable. All are treated with tender loving care, their needs, both emotionally and physically are paramount!!! Her insight understanding and experience, is truly breath taking to experience! What ever your level of experience , Sarah believes in you and will help you reach your full potential, and most of all will have you believe in yourself! I highly recommend Sarah. I wish I had found this remarkable lady years ago!

So disappointed - I had emailed Sarah and set up two private lessons with a view to regular dressage lessons. Living in London it is over an hour drive to her stables but for good horses and teaching it would have been worth it. We arrived for our 2pm lesson ten minutes early so we could meet Sarah and do any paperwork that was needed. On arrival the yard was empty, no Sarah, no message and no horses ready for a lesson. After waiting 20 minutes we messaged her, she said she was out and running late and would be there in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later she arrived - no apology and not in a good space. When I said that by the time horses were tacked up and ready we would be pushed for time starting over an hour late - she said 'why don't we do this at another time'. I was not impressed! Thank you for your response Sarah......... it is true that it is always a shame when things don't work out, however I simply do not recognise your account of events.
