    I took an item to be repaired and after a week was telephoned and told that it needed well over £100 worth of work to replace 2 parts. I collected it as I didn't think it was worth repairing for that money and after watching a tutorial on YouTube, I bought a small screwdriver from Amazon for about £1.99 and mended it myself. Although the staff in the shop were perfectly pleasant, I was surprised that the engineer couldn't repair a minor fault when, with absolutely no previous experience or gadget knowledge, I could!

    I visited this shop for the first time last month hoping to get a replacement lead for my baby monitor. I took the baby monitor with me and asked the member of staff to help with getting the correct one. I left happy with a new lead. However, when I got home none of the attachments worked so I bought it back as I would have to source another one. They refused to give me a refund, even though the item was not fit for purpose. I received a credit note instead. I didn’t need anything else from this shop. My husband then went down to ask for a refund and again was told it wasn’t company policy. We had looked up are customer rights before hand just to make sure we were within our rights, and by law we are entitled to a refund. The management refused to except this and we left with a credit note we will never use. I much prefer shopping locally but I will not shop in the place again. Very poor customer service.
