    Long overdue review. I always find the service from the Guildford team top notch and incredibly helpful. Their pricing is great and warranty’s very good value. They are more than happy to help and offer advice and what best types of devices would suit you and your home and are happy to set up devices you may be interested in so you can sample before buying. Great store and great team of individuals. Who needs online for electrical items when you have company’s like these on your doorstep. Keep up the great work.

They also arranged for delivery and for installers for my new TV and bracket - received good service from both. Everything was made easy and straightforward for me.     Poor salesmanship and customer service from Roland. I told him I was looking for some Bluetooth headphones. He proceeded to ask me only one question which was price range and nothing else. I gave him a range of £1-200 and was only given one option within that range. As I was set on buying them today, I still went ahead with the sale. When giving him my details, he asked for my surname which I gave him and he started laughing? I looked at him and he said it was a weird surname which left me a bit speechless. Not sure if he was trying to build rapport but he definitely went the wrong way about it. Won’t be buying from richer sounds again and now thinking about getting a refund and shopping elsewhere!

    As ever with any branch of Richer Sounds I've walked into, I find the staff pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The one downside is you can rarely park near the store if you are purchasing lots of AV kit or one big heavy item. As they are not on the main high street they are able to offer good prices and I believe they will price match too. We just bought our first projector in store. And ordered the screen through Richer Sounds online. Gotta keep supporting these physical shops as speaking to knowledgeable people face to face is far better than ordering online, only to then have questions.

    I called the Guildford store today seeking guidance on a NAD L70 Amp that I purchased back in 2003! I spoke to Andrew who whilst not familiar with the amp (as Richer Sounds no longer sell them), was incredibly helpful sourcing guidance online to help me set up the audio optical Tv output. Despite repeated unsuccessful efforts with the TV/ amp/optical set up Andrew then called me back with further ideas which was very unexpected. The net result is that the BOSE 5.1 acoustimass system now works with Amazon Prime, Netflix, BBC i player etc through a 20 year old amp and I cannot thank Andrew enough for his excellent customer service. As this was such an old item I had little expectation but Andrew was very approachable, knowledgeable and thirsty for new information which helped me resolve the conundrum. Many thanks Andrew and also to Richer Sounds for your continued excellence in your field. You are simply a cut above the rest and very well done.
