Visited on a Sunday with family. The staff are very helpful, and I recommend the excellent audio guide, which really brings the place to life. Richborough is an amazing place which is more interesting the more you learn about it. There are lots of fascinating details. I also bought the guidebook which is very good and also covers Reculver.

Incredible roman ruins and so so interesting. The audio tour was a little wordy but just listen to the areas that you are interested in. The gate and bath house and the large marble gate I found the best. We are members and if you are visiting the area I would recommend it 100%. Gets you into Deal, Dover, Walmer, St Augustines, and 20% off Canterbury cathedral to name a few!! Also free parking on those sites too.
