Just had check up by Mr Sterling after he performed lens swap in both eyes for vision correction a few weeks ago. I'm really pleased with result, I don't need contact lenses or glasses anymore, even for reading (as I opted for multifocal lenses). Great advise and service from him and his team. Just wish I had it done years ago.

Excellent surgeon with a very caring and competent attitude. Cataract operation to both my eyes in the past year and both eyes now have excellent long vision. Highly recommended.

I am a 55 year old male who suffered a bleed in my left eye 4 years ago (Central Retinal Vein Occlusion), resulting in damage to my retina, with subsequent deterioration in vision due to the bleed continuing to leak into the eye. Before seeing Mr Stirling, I had undergone 35 injections at 6 weekly intervals to try and manage the condition, and keep the recurring bleed 'at bay'. In short the sight in this eye was extremely poor. My other eye was 'normal' but I needed glasses for even every day 'life'. Mr Stirling was recommended to me by a local optician. Upon looking at my eyes and the long-term and ongoing situation, Mr Stirling confirmed that he could carry out 'lense replacement' procedures on both eyes (the same procedure that would be carried out had I had cataracts), with the ultimate goal of leaving me without the need for glasses, which was something that I thought would never be an option for me. I say this because I had previously undergone successful Lasik corrective surgery 15 years ago which further complicated the situation for Mr Stirling. 4 weeks later and I now have 20-20 vision in my 'good' eye and massively improved vision in the other eye. I cannot thank Mr Stirling enough or put into words how professional he was throughout the entire process. I have had contact over the years with a number of highly skilled ophthalmic consultants, and I can say that my experience with Mr Stirling has been the very best - Thank you for everything...Amazing!
