After recent annual service, I've began to have problems with my front brakes- when braking at speeds over 40 mph front become wobbly. This was not the case before the annual service at Richard Lawson in Dundee. Service took place on 18th of March 2023. I have gave them a call on the 20th of March for an appointment and was booked in for a review on Saturday 1st of April. When I came in the crew did a test drive and confirmed there's a problem with front brakes discs and pads and will be covered under warranty as it was not a standard wear and tear issue(car is currently on 20300 mileage) . They confirmed multiple times it will be covered by warranty as problem only started right after annual service. I was then booked in for Wednesday 5th of April. They took the car into the garage and another guy was trying to force me to pay an extra £390 for the job despite his colleagues confirmed it was suppose to be done for free as part of warranty under service. They refused to replace the brakes until payment is made. Customer service representative - Keith was very rude and adamant his colleague was mistaken and he won't help until full payment is made. I find this very troubling I was refused help despite problem with brakes only becoming transparent right after annual service. I have taken a day off to travel to Dundee to get my brakes sorted and lost a full day of pay on top of that just to be refused help. I am very unhappy about this and concerned about safety of my vehicle after it was clearly mishandled during annual service.

Not many mitsubishi cars are in here anymore, plenty of everything else. Called the previous week to book my car in for an mot as I would need it done first thing to get back to work. Dropped the car off before the service department opened as instructed, went away, and came back after half 9 as i was told it would take an hour over the phone to find the car not moved. Rearranged my day to drive to Dundee for this to happen first thing and left with no mot. I have used this garage for years for all work needing done to my car, services and mots don't think I will be back as it seems to have turned from a mitsubishi garage to a bog standard 2nd hand car dealership I can find on my doorstep.
