    Rated 1 out of 5 stars 3 days ago After sales promises not kept My Partner and I bought a MG ZS limited edition from Richard Hardie Silverlink last year. Within 4 days there was a clunking sound, and when I rang back I was told to see how it goes!!!!! I spoke to the Ashington branch, who was more helpful, and then spoke to their GM or aftersales manager, as I have been told since. It needed new brake discs and they also did the strut top mount!!!! This did not work and it was back and forth over a few weeks until I eventually rejected the car. I was promised 3 years' worth of free servicing, floor mats, and a free MOT if I bought another car with them, As Ashington had been a lot better than Silverlink I give them the chance. This car had to go back, as all of the brake pads needed to be done, and 2 brake discs, which they did fix. I did ask for a letter at the time for the free servicing and was told that it would be put onto the system as this was the safer way (by Hannah who has left). I rang Craig (service manager) to book iot in for my service (who was there when I had all of my issues with the 1st car) and he said it wasn't on the system and that I would have to speak to Simon the sales manager. I rang and spoke to Simon, and his response was "I don't know why you have rang me" I explained Craig had told me to ring. I then asked who the new GM was to be told I could only speak to the aftersales manager, who was Craig, who I had just been on the phone to!!!!!!! Richard Hardie has just 2 customers, as my daughter is looking for a new car and I would have went back to them for my next car if this hadn't happened. I even took a service plan out with my 1st car with them, and instead of transferring this, I cancelled this due to the promises they haven't kept. They have a record of this too!!! I am now short of money, as I have had to pay for a service in one go, instead of monthly payments, which I would of done Date of experience: 05 May 2023

    Cannot begin to express how disappointed i am. I had an extremely positive experience buying my car here, only to have the battery completely knackered and dead just 3 months (and 8 days) after buying it. To then be told there is nothing that can be done as its over the 3 month warranty (not even by 2 weeks.. by A WEEK) out of the goodness of their hearts for selling me a car with what was essentially a near dead battery. Its safe to say i won’t be revisiting nor trusting to buy another car from here. As a 21 year old girl who was super excited to get her Jeep, im left with a dead car in my driveway with no other option but to pay out over £100 for a new battery just 3 months after buying the car. Its unheard of! So so SO disappointing

    Decided that I wanted to buy a Fiat, so visited the three Richard Hardie garages, Ashington, Silverlink and Sunderland. Spoke to Jason in Ashington who was really friendly and professional. We then went to Silverlink but didn’t really have anything we liked. Also the salesman there didn’t know the forecourt so every time we asked a question he had to go inside to ask.We then went to Sunderland branch. I was greeted by a salesman shouting stupid comments across the car park which I ignored. We were interested in a brand new vehicle however we had to ask 4 times for the price which eventually the reply was “roughly £17500”. We felt that no one really wanted to sell us a car. Anyway within the same time I had spoken to Jason who found a car at Sunderland, one that we had sat in. So because no one could be bothered, we drove back to Ashington and bought the same car there. Jason and the manager at ASHINGTON are so helpful. Jason even helped connect my phone etc when we picked the car up. So five stars out of five for the Ashington branch. Thanks guys.

    bought a jeep 2 years ago, it recently developed a problem so took it in for repair , had already noticed they had a nice jaguar xe on the website so asked about part exing the jeep. they gave me a really good deal even with the engine light on , and i now own the jaguar . i was guided through the process by shaun from the ashington branch , he has a very friendly , no pressure approach , made everything about the process easy to understand, and kept me informed on the progress . even gave the car a quick wash down when a bird decided it was too clean as i was literally about to drive off in it ! from pulling up in my jeep to driving away in the jaguar took less than 36 hours ! will definitely be back when its time to upgrade
