  Lord Mayor of Westergate

  Large established furniture company in Bognor Regis. Knowledgeable staff friendly and approachable in finding out about the products. It's an old school company that is surviving the modern world, the staff know what they are talking about and don't baffle you with farmyard by-product. Also the customer services / accounts department are friendly and approachable and having the option to only pay 25% deposit at time of order is good. All in all a pleasent experience and will return for future purchases.

  Great furniture and quality products! Rare nowadays. So happy there is a good furniture shop in Bognor Regis! Please keep it going! Lovely and helpful staff in the shop too! The bed, furniture and mattresses we bought are all great and lasting. Reading one star reviews from some online is just upsetting, well you cannot please everyone, esp those who just like moan online for the smallest reason ever.

  The worst customer service I have ever experienced and their arrogance is mind-blowing. This is the first review I've ever made but I feel I have to warn others. we ordered our duresta sofa on the 8th May this year and we were told we could receive delivery in 12 weeks (31st July) as they were built in England. it was a very very expensive purchase but we really liked the sofa, I received a call on 9th August to ask what colour piping we wanted, I was amazed, I thought it was the call to arrange the delivery, surely a question like that would have been asked by duresta when they received the order?, when i questioned the delivery date he said he didn't know but he was aware that the factory had been closed for some time, they didn't think it was worth letting me know and it was so matter of fact as though it's nothing to do with them. 17th September comes and hearing nothing I give them a call, in the usual sloping shoulders way I'm told delivery is set for some time in early December, i understand that they are beholden to the manufacturer but why can't they keep me informed. I rang the manufacturer to check when the order had been placed as I suspected they hadn't actually placed the order until the 9th August but they refused to discuss it with me so who knows. today i thought I'd give Reynolds a call (as they never ring me) and he said with the standard arrogance " I've already told you before that it's December but I look for you anyway " guess what, mid February. What a way to treat someone buying a prestige brand, they truly couldn't care less that we are going to have waited for nearly a year to get a sofa made in the UK, they don't seem to understand that when they sell something in their store they have some ownership of that brand but when you speak to them they repeatedly say its got nothing to do with them, if they can't supply the product then they shouldn't sell it, or at least make any potential buyers aware of the wait, its not good enough to conveniently pretend that we purchased it direct from the manufacturer, obove all nobody cares or checks up on any development's with your order even when they know you've been messed around. they still manage to send me junk emails offering me £500 off when I spend over £5000, i can barely receive an apology without it being followed up by "not our fault " Trust me you have to experience it to believe it. They can also be rude in store, your made to feel very unwelcome 20 minutes to closing time, maybe they can't stand working there either because it shows, Im starting to understand why it's always so quiet in the store even though they have quite nice things in there, Save yourself a lot of pain and shop elsewhere.

  I had my wool carpets fitted by Sam and Jack today. To say I’m impressed is an understatement! They worked non stop all day fitting carpets in an awkward room and difficult stairs. The quality of their work deserves a 5* rating, the results are stunning. They were so pleasant, courteous and polite, I would recommend them to anyone. Reynolds kept to their schedule of work and Neil kept me informed throughout. I couldn’t ask for a smoother transaction and a better result.

  Purchased a mattress from this store. But when the mattress arrived we realised that it was not the mattress we had ordered, it was a lot firmer than the one we had originally ordered. Manager came out to have a look and said that it will get softer in a month or two. After 2 months it still was as firm as the day we had received it. Will never purchase from this shop. We now shop at John Lewis.
