Kid-friendliness: This is not a particularly child-friendly restaurant. Children need to be of an age where they will appreciate a multi-course tasting menu that may involve flavours or textures that are outside their normal experience. Parking: Parking is located to the South and behind the hotel with plenty of spaces for restaurant guests. Mainly gravel surface. Two/three tarmac spaces are available immediately off the road by the restaurant door for disabled guests.

Simply perfect. Food, service, atmosphere, location, feeling. I really can’t fault anything, and I love to find a fault. The head chef/founder wasn’t even there but that makes it even more special. When a head chef isn’t there and the food is this good you know they know what they are doing. This is undoubtedly a 3 Michelin star restaurant (I’ve been to most) and will be soon if Michelin adapt to what amazing cuisine is in 2023. Absolutely the future of fine/great/brilliant dining (widen your scope Michelin). Of course it’s not cheap, but it is a special occasion venue and a place that will create memories that are priceless and timeless. Martin, Robbie, Marek, Ally, and everyone else we had the pleasure of your time. Thank you. Will be back.

Sublime meal from start to finish. Of course ‘Hjem’ translates to home; and that’s exactly how we felt, at home. Ally the owner was the perfect host. So nice having the kitchen team explain dishes to us, really brought a personal touch to an outstanding dining experience. The sommelier presented interesting and curious wines without pretension. Would thoroughly recommend.

Terrible experience. A circus of noise. A cacophony. The staff shouty and a rabble. Every table interaction is loud. The guests are encouraged to become boisterous. This is not a michelin dining experience. More like a canteen with mediocre food. Will lose their star soon. The owner is the loudest of them all. The sommelier is so loud and renders information of his life to all and sundry. Music is loud. You cannot even hear the dishes being robotically described. Could not wait to pay my bill and get out. Expensive. Parking: Unsurfaced and uneven parking

Second time here, as good as two years ago. It deserves it's Michelin star. I have been fortunate to enjoy meals at Raby Hunt, Rogan's and L'Enclume - in terms of value for money, atmosphere and quality of dining experience, Hjem beats those other hands down.
