Attentive service, great food. The restaurant is in quite a strange location (as some have mentioned) but the room itself is intimate and well appointed. We tried a selection of small plates and a couple of the main dishes. The caponata with burrata was particularly good, as was the ragu. I think Elis hits the brief that it's set itself of higher end food in a more approachable and relaxed way. I was impressed at the level of service and will definitely be recommending others to visit.

The most expensively disappointing affair. The food was so unflavored and underwhelming throughout the night, I would pay another £90 just to get my time at Elis back. Tacos were flavorless, salad was bland, potatoes were really bad. The only thing worth while was the pork rib on special. Service lacked attention while empty plates just sat on our table for too long, and resulted in us stacking dirty dishes ourselves until the wait staff had capacity to attend to us. Wine bottles were opened without our consent and past our food was finished, and left us feeling like our money was stolen from under us. Please go some place else, it was the most average night I’ve had in a long while, if it hadn’t been for friends, this night would’ve really left me in sheer disappointment. What a disgusting price tag for poopy food.
