I booked and pre-paid for a motorcycle MOT in advance, however, when I tried to call to re-arrange on the morning of the MOT due to bad weather, I was told that I would lose my payment. An upgraded red weather warning (damage to property/danger to life) was issued on the morning of the MOT and active for the allotted time of my MOT (Storm Eunice 18/02/22). Clearly if we were just talking about rain then the approach is understandable, but not 60mph - 80mph winds ! During the conversation on the phone, I was told "it's not too windy at the moment" which was several hours before the storm was due to peak (which which would unfortunately coincide with my MOT slot). It's disappointing that a company that makes such a big deal on the importance of safety on their Facebook page, refuses to re-arrange my MOT without charging me again, and implies I should attempt to get there on a motorcycle during the worst storm in at least 10 years ! I cannot recommend this company, and needless to say will never use them again, 'terrible customer service'. I got my motorcycle MOT'd locally with an alternative garage 2 days later, with no requirement to pre-pay.
