Had my board for over a year and still can't repair it. Told I can part ex it for one they have, but have since been ghosted. Calls are not answered. Voicemails are not answered. Emails take weeks or months to answer. This company is either very disorganised or a scam.

Took 3 months to fit a tyre and one brake, and they didn’t even finish the repair, it took them almost the full 3 months to tell me they couldn’t complete my brake fitting. Could’ve told me that at the beginning. So 3 months for a tyre fitting, communication is dreadful, try overcharge you so have your wits about you when it comes to them invoices they send, use your head to work out how much and how long it should take, because they certainly don’t. Tried charging me £270 then when I contested it, it was dropped to £150. OH let me add, the tubeless tyre they fitted popped off the rim within 5 miles, it was incorrectly fitted as me and my friend who’s a mechanic took a look at the seaming. I fit it myself and it’s now up to standard (if you want something doing right, do it yourself) - so I paid them £100 to half fit a tyre and half fit a brake. (I bought the parts INB4) Would NEVER use here, Manfirth in Holbeck is a much better option than Smartboards and they’re friendlier and more efficient/keep in contact. The customer service from Mark is the only thing I was satisfied with, the rest of it was a joke. UPDATE: I sold my brake kit they removed to replace with a new one, this was then reported to be broken beyond usage, due to them ragging it out and snapping my actual brake lever (these are NUTT hydraulics worth £100 a set) - this cost me in shipping it back from the guy, and also had to refund the part. They are a shoddy back alley company; DO NOT BE FOOLED, they are very inexperienced and they will bodge job your repairs! Lack of care is at its highest.
