I have yet to review the meat ive ordered as dpd are useless and 8 days after my delivery was due its still not here!! So it will be gone off and not fit to eat....but i will give 5* to Rendalls for customer service as the day i got in touch with my concerns they got back to me and have sorted out the problem for me in no time at all. Very pleased with the service and look forward to finally trying the meat :)

Ordered a meat box on Monday, Delivered today (Wednesday) Packaging was excellent. We have had the chunky lamb chops tonight. Absolutely lovely! Looking forward to trying the rest of the meat!

Very disappointing. I had heard Orkney Lamb was amongst the best available, but the two packs I received were tough and an odd flavour. I have enjoyed salt-marsh and organic lamb so not a case of me not being used to the 'real taste', but this was actually unpleasant. I held off writing this review until I had eaten a rib-eye that I had bought which was disappointingly thin for 300g+ thus hard to get good caramelisation outside and remain pink inside. I would have expected more care from a supposedly 'premium' butcher. It was a very ordinary steak.... By my experience I would never order again, but perhaps I was just unlucky. Rated 2 Stars as order process and delivery was efficient, but product disappointing.
