My dad passed away....he had a few masonic items...a few odd pieces of gold including his old gold crown 🤣....we didn't want them it wasn't the stuff he wore everyday....we decided to sell....I'm currently living in wigan but made sure I waited until I was in Southend to use renalls....have used before to buy and sell items...not only do they always give the best prices but the staff are amazing and they have the knowledge!! They were able to tell me what was old, gave me the choice if I wanted to add the item on rather than just chucking it all on....so much respect for my situation....I went into the shop that day very emotional and I come out feeling like we had done the right thing in the right place. Non Transparent Transaction! Borrowed £1500.00 on 10.01.2018 Arrived to return debt and collect Jewellery on 15.02.2018. Told only cash, not card. The young lady said the amount I owed was £1661.00. This morning 17.02.2018 I arrived with cash £1700.00. Same lady gave me £3.00 change. So in the space of 2 days the interest increased by £36.00. No receipt was offered or given. Earlier I asked how they arrived at the amount of £1661.00. They replied "this is what the computer says". Would have given them a 1 star but they helped me out when I needed the cash.. Would not recommend.
