I actually attended a CELTA course in 2005 at Regents. It was a tough course, particularly as I had a fear of public speaking. However, during my time at Regents that phobia was addressed. I have 3 Bachelors and a couple of post grad Diplomas. However, in all honesty, this was one of my most positive learning experiences. I am actually visiting this site, because my son has a teaching post in September and he wants to hone his ELF skills. I understand that Regents no longer run these courses, but wanted to address in some way the negative comments I have read here. Frankly, it was sad reading them. I knew and met those members of staff that are being maligned. Their impact on my.life was positively life changing. And that's all I have to say or write on this.

I completed a 3 month internship at the end of 2018 with Doris and her lovely colleagues. It was my first work experience abroad which was intimidating at first but Doris made sure that I'd fit right in. At first, there is a steep learning curve but if you're motivated to work hard in an international environment, it is an excellent work experience. If you're looking for an internship, this is the place to be.
