I have been here on my last visit to Brighton and had the best experience ever from the staff and the food was delicious- however visited on Sunday 28th May at 9.35 and got turned away after a 5 hour journey, and walking to the restaurant - only wanting a simple fish and chips as this is what it’s famous for - but sadly got turned away - so then we walked and went to there competition Bankers and got served Was truly looking forward to it, but that’s how it goes sometimes

we came in on a nice sunday and nabbed a table just before there was a long queue. there is a variety of seafood options on the menu both individual and sharing. service was quick and portions are generous. i got the whole crab salad which was quite good but simple, though it couldve been more seasoned

I’ve been here once 3yrs ago and the food was lovely- I’m not really hugely into eating fish so a fish restaurant isn’t somewhere I’d choose but they had options for most. My brother and my dad absolutely are obsessed with fish restaurants and if they say it’s good then it means it’s absolutely outstanding lol - basically this is their favourite restaurant in the whole of Brighton & Hove. My brother and dad are always there having a meal.

The most delicious fish and chips I've had for years! A truly crispy, light, golden batter with fresh tasting cod. Made me realise what I've been missing. Its also great sitting outside in the sunshine and the service is good.
