There aren't enough stars for this review! From the first meeting we had with them Matt & Jaye were fantastic, and they remained amazing throughout the entire process! The photos that were taken of our wedding day were just perfect and the videography was amazing. We were given a lot of creative control I.e. whether to focus on video/photos of particular moments and they were always fantastic at communicating. We had so much fun when we were taking our photos on the day and I cant thank them enough for that! We enjoyed having them around. Would absolutely recommend having them as your photographers/videographers!

They made the whole process ridiculously easy and gave so many helpful tips on what to do on the day and leading up to it. Our photographs are amazing and we love them all so much. We can't thank them both enough for capturing our day exactly how we wanted and we'll treasure them forever. Highly recommended!!

We hired Tux & Tales (Jaye) to shoot our wedding in August 2022. Being a wedding photographer myself, it was a bit of a daunting decision choosing a wedding photographer… added to that we are two brides…. And my wife can be rather picky and hates having her photo taken! But Jaye took on the task with great enthusiasm and didn’t run away 😂 phew! In the lead up to the day, the pre-planning was really thorough and left us no doubt everything would run smoothly and be safe in Jaye’s hands. Side note - We also made a more last minute decision to hire her husband Matt (Forest Film Co) to be our videographer as we wanted lots of memories captured(I’ll leave a separate glowing review for Matt!) Well Jaye totally understood our vision of a laid back, family orientated day, and the fact we wanted to have fun and capture the moments without loads of posing. Our church layout meant the service wasn’t the easiest at all to capture (from a photographers point of view) and yet the photos are amazing and she managed to be a total ninja at capturing our special ceremony, all without being in the way. It was a crazy 34 degrees on our wedding day and like an absolute trooper Jaye (&Matt) climbed a hill with all the kit to capture some couples photos with the beautiful views. She even pulled out a battery powered fan to cool me down at one point 😂 The effort they put in was incredible from start to finish. Our kids typically weren’t interested in being in any photos and yet we have some fantastic photos of them to treasure forever- she was sooo good with all of the crazy amount of kids running round, loaded up on sugar. Our guests have also all commented on how amazing the photos are and how great Jaye & Matt were on the day. Thank you so much Jaye for capturing our day, I will (& have!) recommend you to all. If you want a photographer and a videographer, definitely hire them both Jaye & Matt together as they are a super team!

We chose Jaye & Matt to photograph our daughter's gender reveal. We knew fireworks would be tricky to capture and we also knew we had only one chance at capturing our daughter & her partner's surprise. The photos are just amazing! Jaye & Matt captured the reaction perfectly!! They are so professional in their work but also so easy to get along with and nothing is too much trouble for them. Despite it being a dark and very wet night, Jaye & Matt continued to keep smiling throughout! I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting professional photographs. Jaye and Matt's photos were of the highest quality. They were easy to get along with. There are two of them taking photos which I thought was great value for the price they were charging. They went above and beyond for my wife. On the morning of our wedding my wife's make up person cancelled. Jaye managed to get a substitute very quickly who turned out to be better and cheaper. If Jaye hadn't sorted this for us my wife's wedding day would've got off to the worst start. I can't recommend Jaye and Matt highly enough to anybody planning their wedding.

We chose Tux and Tales for our wedding photography and we could not have been more delighted with the photographs. They really "got us" and the vibe of our day. It was a great balance of having enough photos but also wasn't exhausting posed photo after photo as it can be at weddings. I would really recommend the video option too. Our video is one of the most special things to me. It never fails to make me smile. Thank you for our beautiful photos and wonderful service from start to finish.

Jaye and Matt were our perfect choice from the moment we started emailing! We had such a fun time with them both for our pre-shoot around York (which they kindly came out twice for as the weather was poor the first day!) and the day of the wedding. Totally the best wedding photographers ever! Made us feel so at ease, photos were amazing, and they ensured the day actually ran to time (as much as these things do!). They squeezed our booking in after our first photographer had to cancel for unexpected reasons and brought a new wave of calm to a panicked bride and groom!! 100% would recommend to anyone... In fact... Our friends even went on to book Matt and Jay for their big day after seeing their fab work!!! You won't be disappointed if you book them!
