We selected Regal kitchens on the basis of being able to match our colour and design preferences exactly. From a first conversation there designed created out kitchen and the visualisation was almost perfect first time. Our fitter Ian was Mr Perfection himself and took great care in our installation. In addition Regal were able to supply the Neff N90 range a competitive prices which most vendors could not even supply as too new. Finally emma came round and cooked us a 3 course meal on our new appliances showing use how everything worked. I went to Regal to get some good advice on a new kitchen. The whole experience from walking into the showroom to the final inspection was brilliant. The designers, Stacey & John, were so helpful and really had a great understanding of what I wanted and most importantly, what worked best for me. The installer Roger, was friendly and had a keen eye when it came to detail. I really enjoyed the cooking demonstration to which Emma came round and showed me how to use all my appliances, which I found amazing and really helpful. Thank you so much regal kitchens. Firstly, 5 stars for the kitchen which was installed by Ian who was a perfectionist, behaved with the upmost respect at all times to both us, our property, and left leaving us with a lovely kitchen. Janice phoned regularly to make sure all was going to plan and Phil was also respectful when removing & refitting items following flooring problems. Works started on 05/09/22 and we had a working kitchen within around 3 to 4 weeks. However, problems with the floor, which were partly due to both the flooring company, employed by Regal Kitchen’s, and the manufacturer of the tiles. This went on for another 6 weeks or so, meaning we couldn’t move the rest of the furniture and island back and couldn’t use the dining area, eating off our laps become the norm and having to cancel invitations with friends as this went on. I felt things just weren’t moving quickly enough so, as advised, I contacted Regal’s approved flooring company directly and was told the holdup was with the manufacturer but no further updates were received. Weeks went by and as nothing appeared to be happening, I felt I had to start the onerous task of ringing the manufacturer direct, obtaining a reference number to quote when seeking updates. I felt I was on my own now the kitchen was installed and that if I hadn’t taken steps to go direct and regularly chased the manufacturer myself it would have taken much longer to sort out. Approximately 3 weeks into the saga I asked Regal’s if we could at least bring the dining table in from the garage where it was stored (all furniture and appliances were removed and stored in the garage by 2 men on commencement of works). I suppose I did offer to help, not realising how heavy the table was but, I should have asked for more help however, maybe Regal Kitchens should have insisted on sending two person’s. So, when the date came to re-laying the floor, all skirtings, plinth’s and side panels had to be removed and refitted again. Unfortunately, on removing and refitting the flooring, the company’s operatives (different guys to the chap who laid it previously) were not as respectful as I would have liked, using our dining table for storage of tools and the many boxes of floor tiles which I had to ask them to remove. However, they were polite and did a good job. So I suppose all’s well that ends well. However, it’s a shame, that when looking back and retelling this story, the whole experience will always be marred by these unfortunate events. From design to complete installation, we cannot fault this company. Stacey understood our brief and designed a kitchen which exceeded our expectations. Dan, our fitter was extremely friendly, kept us informed of the progress and really paid attention to detail. Beyond satisfied with the end result. Entire process has been stress free - even the 9 month wait for Neff to supply the ovens-but Janice did a lot of work chasing them on our behalf. Installation ( Dan) was stress free too - the Schuller units are a brilliant quality. An unforeseen issue with electrical supply for one of the ovens was solved immediately with minimal fuss by Phil - and Emma’s cookery evening - with her cooking us a meal and giving us tips on using the ovens ( they do a whole lot more than you think ) was a brilliant sign off to the entire project.
