Deserves nothing but 5 stars. The whole experience from start to finish has been fantastic. I despise having my photo taken and I certainly didn’t expect to come away with a number of really quality photos capturing special moments of me and my horse. I absolutely LOVE them and they now have pride of place in my home. I was a bit apprehensive about the shoot (expected to feel really awkward and not know what to do with myself!), but Jess and Dan made it fun and stress free (for both me and my excitable horse) - we had a ball. I really struggled to pick out my fave photos as I loved ALL of them! I now have priceless photos that I will treasure forever 🧡 thank you. It’s 100% worth the money and you won’t regret it. I will absolutely be using Jess again. What a talent. This review doesn’t do your work justice!

Short Review: Jess is amazingly talented, is a great person and you will have absolutely no regrets in booking a dog photography session with her, or any other photography session for that matter. We cherish the artwork she has provided for us and wouldnt hesitate in using her services again. Longer Review: Around 2 years ago we contacted Jess to see if she would shoot our 4 dogs for us, we was concerned one of our dogs health was deteriorating and didnt want to have any regrets in capturing some amazing artwork of him. We picked some local woods to go to for our on set photos and on hand was Jess and Dan. Both were support supportive, professional but most of all they cared for the dogs they was working with and ensured they were happy at all times. My dogs arent the easiest of dogs, one being blind, one having major joint issues and then the other two disliking each other. But Jess and Dan was fully prepared for this and worked with the unique nature of each of the dogs. The plan was to buy the artwork to go into the new extension we was getting built however due to various delays the build wasnt completed until two years later. During this time Jess was very understanding and we absolutely did not feel any pressure to quickly purchase the images and make any decisions. Jess knew how keen we was to work our full new room around the photos so ahead of the viewing session (once our building work was complete) we sent the dimensions of our new room through and a picture of the wall we wanted them to be the focal point on. On arriving at the viewing Jess and Dan greeted us in their amazing studio and instantly made us feel at easy (the studio is just wow!!!) supplying us drinks and tissues for the moment that laid ahead. Sadly 2 months before the viewing we lost one of the dogs that Jess had photographed for us so these photos now meant even more to us and Jess realised this. Little did I know she was going to present us with an amazing video of our photos from the shoot and that instantly set us off seeing our special boy again. We spent a number of hours at the studio as its really difficult to choose your shortlist of images when all the images are so amazing. Again Jess was very patient as we chopped and changed ideas, helped make suggests given her professional expertise and even helped us chose a colour to decorate our wall at home to compliment the images we had decided to purchase. We opted for fine art framed prints after careful consideration and the fact it was an orangery they was going to be hung in, we didnt want the light to impact the images over time. During the selection process there was absolutely no pressure or sales techniquie to make a purchase and it was entirely our decision. A few weeks then passed by until our images arrived from the digital studios. Again I visited the studio to pick up the pictures and wow what can I say they are totally out of this world and exceeded all expectations. I cannot thank Jess and Dan enough for capturing such special moments of our beautiful boys we will truly cherish them forever. I am sure we will be back again in the future to visit and get more photos. There is no price to be put on such amazing memories

We had the most AMAZING experience with Jess! We attended a dog photography session in Yorkshire and everything from start to finish was outstanding! There is something truly unique and special about Jess and her work. Our two dogs absolutely loved her and felt so at ease the entire time. Plus the images from the photoshoot were out of this world and one of a kind - I’ve honestly never seen such beautiful artwork!

Wow wow wow, Jessica Mcgovern photography there are simply not enough words. I went to Jess asking if she thought it would be possible to create an image I had in my head with my horse Viva (a Heartland type photo). Well as always Jess and Dan were amazing, they took us to a location in North Yorkshire which had all the hidden spots to create my dream image, we walked around the woods stopping at various points, which Jess just new would make the perfect spot, her talent is beyond me. Viva can be a bit of a handful at times and I was very conscious, Jess was very calm and nothing was ever an issue, she made us feel relaxed and was able to work with whatever Viva decided to throw at us. Jess and Dan were both amazing with Viva, they knew how to handle her, when she needed a break and when I did! We then had a viewing session in their new studio, Jess started playing the slideshow of the photos and then the tears started! The photos were better than ever imagined, the quality and time Jess had put in was amazing. We then had the hard task of choosing….basically impossible, every single photo was special, Jess caught all Viva’s personalities and I loved them all. Jess helped with the type of frames and layouts which would suit the room I wanted them to be in, she was very patient, helpful and honest. Thank you so much Jess for my very special photos.
