We have never been to Redcar before, we were looking for a dog friendly beach walk and saw you could walk from Redcar to Saltburn completely on the beach if the tide is out. We arrived at 10am, easy to park on the beach front as not that busy. The beach wasn't busy, mostly dog walkers. It was really enjoyable, we got to Maske and had some fish and chips which were gorgeous, completed our walk and returned to Redcar to get back in the car. By mid afternoon it was far busier, the beach was busy and the promenade was packed. It was the start of a Bank Holiday weekend and lots of people enjoying a hot summer day. We'll return and explore a different stretch next time to see what that's like. We only go for the beach and sea air and would recommend for that.
