This is a great place to stay outside of London but with quick access into the city. The staff were all lovely, we took our dog and they were brilliant with her. There was a bed, blanket and bowls for her in the room. The room had air con which was much appreciated. There is a lovely outdoor seating area at the front to enjoy a drink and inside the pub there are lots of different cosy areas to sit. We had dinner which was very good, rump steak with proper chips. We didn't have breakfast as we had to get away early. All in all a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely return.

My boyfriend and I had our joint 50th birthday bash at The Red Lion in Radlett. We cannot thank the staff enough, they were incredible and everyone raved about the 'fish and chips' they said they were 'soooo delicious '! We really did have a wonderful evening. Thank you x

I booked the Aldenham Room in the Red Lion pub in Radlett for my Birthday party recently. The room was perfect for my group of 30 guests and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Big shout out to Emma for looking after us so well - she couldn’t have been nicer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Red Lion. We were able to play our own music and the food was amazing. We had a great night and will definitely book again in the future
