The promised work never materialised. The site "desperate for staff" cancelled my block booking after two days, reason being they booked too many nurses and don't need me any more. No replacing shifts were offered. On top of that, I was never paid for the two shifts I worked. The compliance team was quick and pleasent, but after that I received poor communication and ended up being out of pocket, having turned down other work for this. I will not recommend this agency to anyone. Edit. The Red Group promised to pay to my limited company. Now they have taken back their word and demand I join an umbrella of their choise. In my personal experience umbrellas leave me way out of pocket as the deductions are very high, take home even less than with PAYE. Seems I will never receive my salary. I worked for free. The Red Group gets to keep all the money for my efforts. Don't let yourselfs to be scammed with these people PS after i contacted my union, The Red Group paid me a lump sum for the two shifts i worked. This was several weeks after the work. Despite my requests, they never gave me any form of a payslip to see if they paid the taxes and NI. All communication from their side stopped. I'm serious here, please avoid this company, you don't want to end up in trouble with the HMRC
