Absolute dump. Floor was dirty around the bar (picture). There was a staff table with a medical supplement/treatment on it with a notepad and drink (picture). Waiter had dirty nails and shoe laces were undone. Toilets were gross (picture). Restaurant was really quiet and it took about 45 minutes for food to come. When it came, it was cold. A shame because the London restaurant was decent about 10 years ago.

Amazing evening of fun with friends!! Came here as a group of 15 - food and staff were amazing! Considering the table size, food came quickly and waitress was really friendly. Even came over and brought us 3 free shots as there had been a mess up at the bar! Gooey Louis burger was delicious and portions were a good size. Would recommend and will be back.

It was fine, bit of a let down. I ordered the Pork shoulder sandwich and it was wrapped up as if it was for a takeaway but presented on a ceramic plate which I thought was bizarre. Huge portion but unfortunately the meat was dry and the BBQ sauce didn't help much. My other half had the Juicy Lucy sandwich and he liked his but we both thought we should have gone for the cheeseburgers instead. We made the booking and ticked it on the website as a 'special occasion' but when we arrived they didn't ask to see the booking so it was a bit pointless. All sides are extra and everything seems a bit overpriced. Chips were tasty but onion rings were undercooked. They had a compulsory service charge of 10% which is fine but doesn't seem worth it. Finally, the restaurant seems a bit dark, I feel like they could have had brighter lights as we were sat by the bar and couldn't really see our waitress as it was a contrast between the lights and the window. We probably wouldn't come back again. Look at other reviews on different platforms too as the Southampton Red dog Saloon is rated quite poorly on some other sites. 2 sandwiches, 2 sides and 2 milkshakes with the service charge was £56.38.
