Me and my friends ordered from here last night. We ordered 2 chicken tikka masala and lamb curry. They were both dry and poorly seasoned. One of them had a clump of hair from someone’s head. I even saw one of the workers drop another customer’s naan bread and pick it back up and put it back in the bag. When I complained about the hair, they said to just pick it out. I got the manager and he said the same thing. Disgraceful! Lastly, when I asked for some salt and pepper, they charged me £2. Words cannot describe how awful this takeaway restaurant was. Please don’t go here.

After having been recently refurbished, we thought we'd try our local again. Great cosy little pub inside, with open fire and friendly atmosphere - new landlord very welcoming. Great house red and reasonably cheap too (for a pub wine bottle). We found the menu a bit limited if honest. Couldn't fault the ham, poached eggs and chips. The beer battered fish and chips was a bit on the small side, portion wise and lacked flavour. The cheese board won back favour though, and was considered the best part of the experience. Will visit again.

The Walrus was nice & quiet last weekend, so we ordered some food. I thought the vegan Moving Mountain burger sounded great so that is what i ordered. Service was efficient - everyone is really helpful, but it was very quiet so the staff kept coming to make sure everything was ok. My burger came in a brioche bun & was served with avocado, lettuce, tomato & a side of fries. The burger tasted very strange - it had a really nasty aftertaste. Not sure that the was down to the Walrus or if this is what a Moving Mountain burger actually tastes like? Not a nice flavour at all. Would not order again.

Very friendly staff, when you walk in you are greeted by not only the front line staff, but all of the chefs while cooking turn around and are welcoming. The food was delicious and I was very much recommend this place for a takeaway.

Easily the best curry in Brighton. Absolutely lovely lot, so kind, warm and personable. They evidently take an immense pride in what they do. Fairly priced (rice and poppadoms included) and the option to have white fish with all curry options felt a delight for this pescetarian who can feel relegated to some takeaway menus' corners. Won't hesitate to order from here again. Their driver was lovely, wishing us a happy new year, which after this decadent feed, it certainly is. Great curry: don't hesitate.
