Owain is the perfect city bike guide. Faced with thousands of Rolling Stones fans coming to Hyde Park, Owain provided expert guidance so I didn’t hurt any of them or myself! He took us in and out of many nooks and crannies that we missed previously despite numerous visits. Now we know where the Maggie Jones is! And I think we saw one of the Wimbledon qualifiers alight from the official vehicle with a bouquet of flowers. Owain is erudite, funny, and a quick and correct judge of (quirky) personalities. Can’t think of a better way to spend a few hours + on a bike. And he also “arranged” for The Queen’s Military Band to play as we rode by Buckingham Palace and for us to listen to the Stones sound check as we were riding in Hyde Park. I am sure we would have heard Macca too had he not be in Glastonbury today. 😜

Red Bike Tours is approachable, fun, prompt, and it was the best experience we had while in London. Great for kids too!

We enjoyed a fantastic private tour with Owain this week at the very last minute. He accommodated our request so quickly and met us with a smile and complete professionalism. He took us to some legacy spots, and some lesser known areas as well. He went above the call of duty when he took the boys for burgers so my husband and I could enjoy a quick adult beverage at a Chelsea pub. The Red Bike Tour was one of the most enjoyable city tours I’ve ever been on, and such a great way to see London from a new perspective. I’ve been a Londoner for over 6 years, and thought I was familiar with areas such as Chelsea, Westminster and Kensington, so I was surprised at how many fascinating things I’d walked past for years without noticing. Great idea for a corporate team building event as the private tours are professionally handled yet easy to tailor to what you need and great fun. The private tour guide, Owain, is knowledgeable, interesting and engaging; just a good guy to spend time with. My friends and I are always looking for new ways to enjoy the city without breaking the bank and this is the perfect example of that. It was very relaxed, the bikes were easy to use and the route was well chosen to be light on traffic wherever possible and (thank you 🙏) completely flat. A refreshing beer in the park part way through was a lovely way to round out the experience; many thanks to Owain for a fantastic day out.
