Disappointing, seems to have gone downhill since moving premises. The food is fine but slightly worse quality than that of the take-aways close by, but 30% more expensive. They even illegally charge for tap water with the defence that "water is expensive". Sadly will not be returning.

Got a collection takeaway. Very prompt and friendly phone order, food was ready on time. Fairly small portions that did not fill the containers (apart from the rice). The chicken chow mein was excellent, sweet and sour chicken was good as were the spare ribs but the beef in black bean sauce was poor. The quality of beef was questionable as it had a very strange texture that I cannot describe and as a result we left it. It was our first experience of Red Bamboo, we will try it again and will be happy to change the review should our experience be improved.
