Great experience coming in to buy a bike, after not having ridden one for nearly ten years! Chris was really friendly and helpful, didn't mind answering my daft questions and took the time to make sure I chose the right bike for me. As a woman on the smaller side, it can be really intimidating to go into a bike shop and not know if there will be anything in there that's right for me, or if the staff will be rude and dismissive that you aren't a hardened cyclist (it's happened before!). But not here, lovely team who couldn't be more helpful.

A helpful and friendly service. I needed a new bottom bracket fitted. It was done while I waited when I had fully expected to leave it for a few days.

Visited yesterday, alot of bikes without prices. Making prices up out of thin air. Unrealistic prices. Mechanic who was there was helpful. Other guy had no customer service skills at all. Anti sales, just a negative vibe from him. Poor set up! * Poeple donating thinking there bikes are going to good use. Staff are clearly making a profit of there own. Over heard a guy say I'll get ££££ for this part on ebay...

Being an avid retro mountain bike collector I found out quite by accident about Recyke Y Bike and the fantastic services they offer, I have purchased three retro bikes from them and I’m absolutely over the moon with both the bikes and the after service. Friendly helpful and enthusiastic staff to which nothing is a problem in the quest for customer satisfaction whether it be rebuilding wheels for me or sourcing hard to find spare parts to complete my restorations, keep doing what you do as you do it exceptionally well!!!….well done and thank you to all👍🏻👍🏻

First experience at Recyke Y' Bike, took my dads old beloved Peugeot road bike in for some much needed tlc. The staff member with beard and glasses (sorry dont know your name) was super helpful and very friendly who I spoke to on the 3 occasions I was in the shop. He talked me through what needed done and wasn't pushing for extra work where it wasn't needed. Chris who did the repairs did a very tidy job with all the work that was done and the bike now rides like brand new. 2 other bike repair shops had said it couldn't be fixed due to its age without swapping out the entire group set at a large expense. The replacement parts are difficult to find because of the age of the bike and I was very picky due to trying to restore the bike back to its original look. They have went above and beyond to satisfy my request and using like for like parts that they had recycled from other bikes all at a fraction of the cost if I was to buy them anywhere else. Overall very positive experience and I am very appreciative to the shop staff. I only intend to use this shop going forwards and will be returning for repairs/maintenance with my other bikes. I strongly recommend to anyone reading.

Just got our 5th bike from here. Absolutely no issues with any and as a family we are more than happy with the bikes and customer service. As the kids get bigger we just return the earlier one and get them another next size up. It's nice to know that the bike will be used again by someone who wants it rather than trying to make a few quid selling it online privately. If all these were bought new the amount spent would be astronomical, but second hand (may as well be new) very affordable.

Attended a beginners' bike maintenance session. Excellent 2 hour session aimed at the level of the people attending. Learned how to carry out pre ride checks, remove a wheel, repair a puncture, refit the tyre and covered best practice for how to clean your bike. All really useful for someone new to cycling
