Amazing doll hospital, would highly recommend. I took a wax doll from 1851 to have her facial paint redone- she had lost her eyebrows, lashes, blush, and lip colour over the last 170 years! I really appreciate the time Paul took to talk me through the different options. He was very knowledgeable and a delight to chat with. A few weeks later the doll was finished, and I am so happy with the result. It was important to me that the doll's new features blended in with her age and were accurate to how she would have looked in the past. It was exactly as I had hoped- the new facial features make the doll look more like she would have done all those years ago and have really brought her to life. She has pride of place in my collection! The doll hospital also sells a huge range of antique dolls (couldn't resist coming home with a new one!), as well as beautiful antique style dolls made by Paul. A great experience and I will definitely be visiting again.
