A long and painful process. Still trying to get a claim settled that I know I'm covered for. Reactive claims have made a sad situation worse with poor communication and just when you think you've jumped through all their hops, they add something else that they need. I would seriously check which claims processors an insurer used before buying insurance again, just so I don't ever have to deal with this company ever again.

Had to cancel our holiday due to unforseen poor health, gave them all of the details, we paid for Dr's letters and evidence basically to be told no, we couldn't get our money back even though we took our platinum insurance.

Absolutely the worst company i have ever dealt with. Even after 6 months and jumping through every hoop, providing every further piece of evidence they asked for, they finally say THEY WILL NOT PAY OUT FOR ANYTHING WITHOUT A RECEIPT. Now you could say that is fine, but who has a receipt for everything in their travel bag? Gifts from other people, tough, not covered. Things you bought second hand, tough, not covered. Changed your bank and now dont have them, tough, not covered. Their communication is rude when you do finally get it, and they may as well sign each email off with a middle finger as they do not care. Emails dont even start with a Hello, just straight into the negatives. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Submitted all of the information as instructed via email. Claim was agreed within 2 weeks and money was in my account 8 working days later. Called to confirm that all my information had been received. Phone call was answered after a couple of minutes on hold to confirm that all information was received and the claim would be processed accordingly. Email followed a few days later to confirm that the claim was being paid. Having seen some of the poor reviews I was a little nervous, however I had no cause to be. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the communication could have been better.

Horrific Company. We had an EasyJet cancellation. After six months of jumping through hoops and paperwork. Asked to prove when next flight was, and couldn't..claim rejected. Off to the FOS.

Scam policy!! I submitted all the details for my delayed baggage claim (9 day delay) only to be told to claim from the airline. Why are you offering cover that you have no intention of honouring? It was only, as you would expect, nominal essentials cover at £150 maximum so why offer it if the airline is ALWAYS responsible for the payment?? I complained and they gave a final decision within 24 hours, now that's rapid by any stretch of the imagination, however they didn't advise my right of appeal.....strange that!! As a point of principle next stop is the ombudsman.
