I was recommended React First and they did not dissapoint. I completed Outdoor First aid course in addition to First Aid at work. Matt the trainer was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in his teachings. The customer service I received by React when I've had to contact them on a couple of occasions for assistance has also been exemplary. They could not do enough to help me and they were very friendly throughout and got back to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend React to all. Thank you!

As an International Mountain Leader I'm required to keep my first aid qualification up to date and have done a number of courses with React First. I've always found the courses to be very well organised and presented. The instructors present everything in a very clear manner. There there is good practical element to each course with plemty emergency situations and the like. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to keep there friends or group safe when in the outdoors.

I just finished a training course with Dennis today (24.05.2021) with Reactfirst in the Westway Climbing centre. The communication with Reactfirst has been great, a little messy with setting the right course, but I can't hold this against Michelle, as I informed them I have started my own skateboarding company and wanted first aid training for my clients safety as well to have the quailification for when/if I work with schools and the local councils. This was the first time they had someone like me enquiring, so the choice of two courses was on the table, and we all agreed the sound of the sports course was the right direction. I went to the Westway climbing centre, the centre it's self is fairly nice, a couple of minor issues within the centre, the floor layout is somewhat confusing. The vending machines didn't work for me, so unfortunately I missed my lunch break. >.< The biggest issue was the parking lot, I feel Reactfirst need to be informed on the information about the parking so they can better help their clients and reduce a stress free visit to this location (I will be following up on an email to them in regards). For the lesson, it was straight forward, Dennis was a great teacher, he popped in jokes every so often, and did a good job demostrating and helping everyone get the correct steps, even with Covid considered, the lesson went well. I would be honest, I found some parts pretty basic, but this is not held against Reactfirst, I've been skateboarding 20+ years, so I've taken a fair share of injuries, so I have googled my fair share of information on sprains, cuts, bruises, tears, and even breaks, so I went in with some basic knowledge. Now finishing the course, I can say I passed! If you guys book through Reactfirst, you'll have a great ease of communication with Michelle, Jenny and a great lesson if you get Dennis teaching you! Recently did a 16 hr ITC outdoor first aid course with Joe. I've done this type of course a few times (from different providers) to keep my instructor qualifications valid; there's a lot to pack in to a two day course which can make them pretty dull and tiring to be honest. Joe was a font of interesting knowledge and good humour, with engaging slides and the ability to manage the group and keep to time. He knew the course book backwards, which maximised the time spent learning relevant material. His multidisciplinary background in the outdoors also enabled him to put the course material in a variety of relevant contexts. The course location was spatious, easily accessible and appropriate for the requirements of the course. Finally there was a high standard and quantity of training equipment (mannequins, AED'S etc), and also PPE to mitigate the new risks due to Covid-19 (masks, hand gel and gloves were fully provided). If you need a 16hr outdoor 1st aid certificate, I would fully recommend this provider.

I attended the 'Emergency First Aid at Work' course lead by instructor Joe. The course was incredibly informative and comprehensive. Joe is a fantastic instructor and lead the course with great enthusiasm and knowledge. In addition to this, I was extremely impressed by the covid-19 procedures in place to ensure our health and safety during the course. 5 starts would definitely recommend!
