Love this place so muchβ donβt honestly know where to start there is SO much to say about itπ€ First of all if it hadnβt been for Robert Mackenzie ( my councillor) introducing me to the Bleinham I wouldnβt be in the position Iβm in now β for the first time in my life (?) I feel at rest with myself!!! Alice helped me no end on the computer ( even if I canβt manage to store any new information in my brain- my brain has definitely been stimulated) Karen has helped me with SO much in the outside world- from different courses etc Hannah tried to help me on a learn to earn course but because of my learning disabilities I found this really hard but G+d bless her - hers as well as everyone who works for the Bleinham had SO much patience with meπ Then there are the other staff- Nigel who is always at hand to help with any connections you might need ( theatre trips etc ) and the Irish girl June is also -as are ALL of the staff here extremely capable/ caring/ empathetic/ but above all professional - Sally- who was in the learn to earn group with Hannah- between the two of them they tried so hard with me - but what came out of this team effort is a more confident/ capable/ understanding person that is me / today/ and G+d willing tomorrow ππππππππππππ If Iβve forgotten to mention anyone itβs because I suffer from short term memory loss π€π€π€ Iβd just like to add that ANYONE and everyone who is on a recovery road will find this place so helpful- welcoming- but most of all beneficial to their wellbeing! Simone is really sweet as are all of the staff! Evelyn πI nearly forgot to mention Tamar ( a peer mentor) who was a sweetheart by coming with me on a PIP interview but also Michael Huck who without his understanding and confidence in me Iβd never have got through the peer mentor training ( which to say I found hard would be an understatement) but this triggered something in my brain that got another part of it working π€ So thanks to everyone who works for the Bleinham in this uphill struggle of recovery ++ but I reckon Iβm almost at the summit now π If this is a bit long winded Iβm sorry but I had ( and STILL have) SO much to say about this place!!!
