A great place to take the children to educate, meet some beautiful well cared for animals, lovely little shops and a great area to picnic. Lovely, helpful, welcoming staff.

It was a beautiful place to visit. Seeing so many animals in one place where you don't need to pay like a zoo. Also, knowing that these animals are all rescued makes it even better. There is a nice cafe with vegan and vegetarian options. There are also toilets. The birds section is closed from 14:00 on and the whole place is closed at 16:00 so try to arrange the time you want to arrive accordingly. I would recommend about three hours time to spend for a relaxed way of going through every section and having a bite to eat in the meantime. The only thing I would say is weird is there are animals who have been rescued from slaughterhouses yet in the cafe, food made up of the same type of animals are served which feels a bit inconsistent. I think a fully vegan range would make it better even though I am not vegan myself but that's a choice. Hope to come here again!
