I was looking for a professional Old school Ducati garage where the staff loved the brand and valued customer service , I came across Ray and his team via the internet and after an initial conversation about my 999 04 bike they introduced me to a courier firm local to them as the bike had a front brake locking issue and wasn’t safe to ride , zip on receiving the bike they have it a health check and a few gremlins were picked up which I expected as the service history was a little vague on the last belt service , I was advised to change the battery as it wasn’t holding a charge as it should and the tyres were were well over due and affecting the pleasure of riding the bike …They stayed in touch prior to making decisions on parts and seemed to be acting in my best interest at all times , I have yet to ride the bike but the bike sounds better and revs better and I have no doubt will ride better , I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring professional pair of hands to fertile their Pride and joy , Thanks to the entire team … Services: Tires, Battery, Brake service & repair

My '77 Le Mans been languishing in garage 4 years needed some TLC to bring back on the road. Ray was immediatley helpful and "got" that I was in need of sympathetic restoration rather than a full re build. Kept me up to date with whatsapp pics ( so know whats happening). Good to see youger generation mechanics coming through ( George, Jamie). Very pleased with the result, looks, sounds, rides superb. Highly recommend esp for 70s Italian stuff. Today after a lifetime of riding motorcycles was my first visit to Ray Petty Meccanica. Ray had always been incredibly kind and generous with his advice to me on the telephone and so having recently acquired a wonderful but very sorely neglected Laverda 3C that had been stored and left unused for many years I naturally took it straight to Ray for total recommissioning. Ray and his team George and Jamie have performed an absolute miracle on my Laverda. Their engineering skills and attention to detail are simply incredible. Nothing escapes their gaze and nothing leaves the Ray Petty workshop unless it is absolutely spot on. With the greatest care imaginable they have totally restored my Laverda 3C to its former glory. Starting her up in the workshop you could feel the thunder from this great powerhouse of a motorcycle straining at the leash ready to get out once again onto the open road towards distant horizons. Fantastic communications throughout with photographs and videos and enormous old fashioned kindness and courtesy. Thank you all for the tremendous warmth of your welcome to me today. It was a great and memorable experience. Thank you for resurrecting my motorcycle and for the joy it will give me. I wouldn't take my Laverda anywhere else.
