Rawnsley house is a disgraceful set-up and that goes for the Mental System in general.! 80% of the staff should hang their heads in shame for taking money under false pretences ? The most frightening aspect of this ( ORGANISATION ?) outfit is the total lack of transparency, no accountability and the unchallenged power they wield.? They may hide behind a modern facade of respectability, but in reality they are now further on than the days of Asylums and bedlam. The general public are kept in the dark and don’t have a clue what’s going on, I suppose the majority don’t even care.!

I've been with the rawnsley building for over 2 years now. They have done absolutely nothing to help me. My doctor there is useless, i've been for appointments regarding my mental health and i've had to sit there and listen to my doctor moan about them being understaffed. Send me somewhere else that can help me then and that have the resources to do so? I get 1 appointment every few months where I will stress to my physiatrist that I am getting worst, my mental health is deteriorating and still no help is offered. A failed suicide attempt and the rawnsley building thinks it's acceptable and normal to give me an appointment 3 months away. At this point i'm genuinely convinced they do not want to help you and do not care if you become another statistic to add to the suicide rate in manchester. I've begged, i've cried, I've complained. If a doctor cannot help me with my mental health problems and disorder what hope do I have ?

Reception manager thinks it's OK to be passive aggressive, gaslight, be rude, ableist and put words into the mouths of the service users (bearing in mind that this is for those with mental health) admitted that she actively turned the phone lines off so they don't have to answer... Never seen a reception 'manager' manage anything so badly in my life The manager above her was extremely polite and person centred though.

Extremely hard to get through to anyone on the phone. For over 18months I’ve been ringing to see when my appointment is coming and then was discharged with no given reason. I’ve never had an appointment or even a letter from them- communication is diabolical Had an urgent assessment arranged by the GP, attended the assessment and was told someone would call the next day.. it’s been two days!! People give up because of poorly run services like this

This is the the worst place anyone should go. They not intrested they pass the book and tell you to go A and E. Half the doctors in there need to be diagnosed themselves as I'm not convinced they are capable of their jobs. The receptionist have better way of dealing with the patients. I have done my cry for help with the professional people and got nowhere I'm on the verge of giving up now. In too much pain pysical and mental and system let me down.
