We had our wedding here in April 2023. Thanks to Ben and the rest of the team it was the most amazing day we both could have wished for. The communication was great as I did have a lot of questions on the lead up, brilliant advice was given and every need was met. The day ran so smoothly thanks to the team making sure everything was in place and always making sure us and our guests had everything we needed. The location is breathtaking with the views and made for some beautiful pictures. The weather wasn’t great for the first half of the day but inside the hotel has some beautiful photo spots too. The reception and evening do are held in two different rooms which is lovely as there’s no hanging about whilst they turn the rooms around, it’s already ready which we felt helped to the smooth running of the day. Our guests commented on how we had chosen the perfect location for our wedding day and they were not wrong. We really felt we were looked after and cannot thank the Staff enough for making it such a magical day. Highly recommend

Beautiful location, unspoilt sea views and nice grounds with plenty of seating areas. Old hall, which in places is showing its age but it appears a number of renovations are taking place. Bedroom was spacious, looked newly decorated and mainly new furniture. Tea and coffee facilities. Bed was comfortable but was a standard double so not much space, linen of good quality. Carpet let the room down - shabby and poorly fitting. Our view was supposed to be a garden view but couldn't see much of it due to a huge external fire escape. View to the other side was rear of kitchens. Bathroom looked newly refurbished, toiletries provided and nice fluffy towels. Shower kept going very hot and then cool. View from the restaurant was amazing - one of the best I've ever seen from a restaurant. Both our 2 course evening meal and full English breakfast were plentiful and very good quality. Staff were very friendly and attentive. £29 for 2 courses, wine £7.60 for a large glass. Unfortunately both the pool and sauna were out of action which was a disappointment. We would return but would upgrade from a standard double.
