Inaccurate advertising. Won't collect scrap metal that is longer than a regular car "as it does not meet the minimum weight". Less than 6 miles away. Not for regular households, so stop advertising as such.

I just called about some scrap metal and was cut off half way through my sentence with ‘We wouldn’t be interested my dear’. Rude, unhelpful and patronising. Next time you should try some customer service and offer an explanation as to why, then I might have considered you next time I had some scrap metal. Edit to respond: 1) I’m not sure how you came up with the 50kg figure, since I wasn’t given the chance to tell you what I needed to scrap, that’s odd. 2) Perhaps have an office or let the phone go to voicemail if you’re too busy/out of reception to answer? That’s not my fault. This conversation would have been better on the phone.

Contacted Darren on a Thursday to collect a combination of different scrap metals including old copper pipe and a boiler from a strip out, together with other bits & pieces. Arranged to come Monday at 9am. Came at the time we agreed. Took everything I wanted moved even though some of it needed proper duty of care arrangements. All was handled efficiently and professionally.
