Had beams and post fabricated by these guys absolutely no problems delivered in 3 days ,, plate welded on I beam and plates on post top and bottom spot on ,,, as specified in drawings by engineer.

Fabrication and craning agreed, I had to amend the delivery date to the following day, which they charged me for, fine it was an inconvenience to them. On the following day they sent the small crane which was not large enough to reach the roof so the beams were left on the drive. They refused to organise a large enough crane to rectify the issue, I offered to meet in the middle cost-wise and they refused as they'd "still be out of pocket". In the end I had to get another company to crane beams onto the roof. All in all ended up approx £1000 out of pocket. Would not recommend and will not use in future; too cut throat and not interested in customer service.

These guys just had the audacity to call us for work after our terrible experience with them. Rapid steels were due to deliver a steel. They called to push back one day, then a second day. On the postponed delivery day, we had three operatives on site waiting and once again no steels were delivered. We had no call from Rapid Steels and when we tried to phone the sales manager, we were put on hold and told we someone would call us back. For two days no one responded to multiple phone calls. We were eventually then told works had not started on the steels due to staffing issues at their firm but we would expect delivery following week Tuesday. This was too long for our already delayed schedule and we had lost all trust so We cancelled the order over the telephone and followed up with two emails. They ignored the emails and - unbelievably - tried to deliver the steels 9 days later - after we had already got the steels made up by another reliable supplier. We refused the order and the delivery man said the property before had also refused their Rapid Steels order. They did not refund our money and the owner was rude and dismissive. Avoid at all costs. UPDATE - owner claiming nothing to do with them so have attached copy of invoice to prove it was them. We spoke with him directly.

We are ordered steel beams for our new extension.2 columns 152 UC 30 ,6m 203X133 and 127x76ub.Supplied engineering drawing as requested.Asked to pay by bank transfer.They delayed with delivery.But this was ok.But in the end they supply 2 columns 152UC23 instead of 152UC30,which is should be thicker.Long 6m beam was bent,connection plate was not welded correctly and 127x76 bean does not comes with any plates at all.Obviously they stop answering and refuse to change anything.
