Was overcharged (£15) for German passport photos which are identical to U.K. passports photos (£10). When I asked the gentlemen to explain why it costs more and if it’s any different he couldn’t give an answer. I told him I don’t think that’s an honest way of doing business and left. Definitely won’t be going back. Reading the reviews below it seems there is systematic issue with arbitrary pricing and trying to squeeze as much as possible out of customers. Sad state.

I'm a regular costumer and today I enquired about business cards . I checked online previously so I knew roughly their prices . When I managed to speak with store they said they will charge £55 for 100 business cards . Online in many companies they were as cheap as £7.95 for the same amount . I ended up buying 50for £5.95 + delivery = £10.90!! 100= £7.95 I saw some other clients complaining about being ripped off also more specifically Fran Mena that complained about paying £20 for 4 passport fotos, the owner replied denying it , only to repeat the same one month later with another client named Italie1! As i can see it's common practice, they don't care about retaining clients as they have many. So if they rip someone today , that person won't come back for others will do ! Most businesses have no moral compass and only think about profiteering! Having profits only , isn't enough anymore

I have used Rapid Photo many times over the years, from passport pictures of my daughters, framed photos for my father and parents in law, prints which I send regularly to my mother in Spain, and once I even had an old fashioned film roll developed- expensive! I won't be pursuing that hobby anymore:) But I digress, it has always been a pleasure to do business with Rapid photo, partly thanks to the friendly, personable staff and the efficient service. Highly recommended

Friendly but a rip off. £1.50 per page for scanning was going to cost me £60 to scan my passport and email. Found free scanning of documents at the Brixton Library.
