I paid £40 to have the cuffs altered on two brand new jackets complete with tags. Although I was satisfied with the standard of the work carried out, on collection of the items both were dusty and had stray threads of colours other than used to alter my clothes on the front and back of both items. Also, a long human hair stuck to one of them. I remarked upon this and commented they looked like they had been lying on the floor. I was sharply rebuked by the female owner that they "had not been on the floor, it’s just tailoring". I asked if they could be brushed, and they were. I had hoped to receive them in the same condition I had left them so was disappointed. Maybe the business has become complacent due to repeat custom they have had over the years, of which I counted myself. A bit more customer care is required, and it is expensive. Got a winter coat zip replaced 2 months ago here and started wearing recently as the cold weather has now started . Took it here and got it replaced . With about 4 days of wearing it it broke off . I called them this morning to say that the zip had broken already without really any usage if he could help . The gentleman said to bring it in and he would check it . Came along only for him to say I must have pulled it with some force for it to rip ? He stated that the zip is as strong as a bullet ) It was zipped up when it broke .... also it would cost £25 to fix it . Am not going to pay money again when the last zip lasted about 4 days . I originally paid £30 to have it fixed .I would recommend people to check other places in the area for zip replacements as the quality isn't worth the money . They may be suitable for alterations but not for zip replacements . Service: Zipper replacement

This is Maria posting . I took my grandsons 2 pair of trousers in on saturday for alterations the staff was busy dealing with others so quite busy . They went above and beyond to get both pair ready for me . With excellent results . Highly recommend and i will be back in the future . Thank you to all staff you were amazing .
