Needed my trousers shortening for an event in April. Initially I asked for a hemming tape however when I visited, i was told that they could use the machine and shorten it for me and would offer a better finish. Opted for the fast service as i needed it by the end of week. Took my measurements and I was out with a few minutes. This is a gem of a place. Polite staff and love the rounded changing rooms. Amy at Chalk Tailors went above and beyond to alter my wedding dress when I found out I was pregnant. The dress had been ordered in my size so it did fit me perfectly but when I found out my news Amy worked her magic to make sure the dress would fit my bump and still look like the original version. She was so accommodating, booking me in regularly to make sure it fit. I got married in Italy at 16 weeks pregnant and then celebrated in the UK with family and friends at 19 weeks and I wanted to wear the dress for both occasions, and Amy managed to make sure it fit both times. Her work was brilliant and I can’t thank her enough for her dedication, it is the best service I have received!

Amy was absolutely amazing from the beginning- my dress needed *alot* of work doing to it with many alterations and adjustments, and she was always very patient when I came in for my fittings. Amy is highly skilled, very professional and a genuinely kind person - I would 100% recommend her to anybody.
