I'm really sorry to have to be writing this, but I have to be truthful. It is my belief that Tony is a jobbing chancer and not a professional. Here's my story. I called Tony in to quote me for rising damp and to repair a non flushing toilet (which he said he also could do). This was several months ago now. He quoted me £1200 which was way over my expectation. We negotiated down to £900 and gave him £100 cash deposit. Having slept on it i still thought £900 was way too much and I told Tony the next day, who decided the work was not worth his while for any lower, but would fix the toilet. Fair enough. He had already bought the parts for the toilet so he said he will finish the job. Well I was not at the property when he did the work but he did assure me the work had been done and I sent him another £75 through online banking. Big mistake. Tony had not fixed the toilet, and I've had problems with it ever since. When I approached him about the problems and my unhappiness, he said that this was normal for this type of cistern!! Truth is, I've wasted £175 because I will now have to buy a new cistern anyway. Also, I bought some damp proofing ingredients for under £100 and fixed the rising damp myself, a few hours work. I think he plucked £1200 out the air. I now feel foolish, taken advantage of and to be quite honest, ripped off for even giving him the toilet job. But I'm relieved I didn't give him the £1,200!!

I can't recommend Tony highly enough. I was let down by someone else and needed my bathroom dampproofed before the installation of the bathroom could commence. Tony came out at very short notice and did a thorough inspection before giving me a very fair and reasonable quote. He was then able to start and complete the job ahead of time, which meant that my refurb project was not held up. Very good communication throughout the whole process. I will be using this company for all my future job if possible.
