Dropped in for lunch one Tuesday afternoon. Nice cold shandy and a superb chicken burger and chips to die for. Great service from the staff - especially the lady behind the bar, Sue I think her name is. Highly recommended, will be back soon.

Went in for a meal with my mum 76 and my husband 60 who had a vest on and the bar women was rude and allowed us to sit down before she said you can't come in as you got a vest on Staff training needed in manners I could understand it if it was packed and busy No notices up to say no vest It's a shame as we live in the village and have used the pub many a time

This pub is under new ownership the food is fabulous, it is nicely decorated and refurbished . The staff and management are friendly and helpful. Myself and my wife had lovely meals here today. I fully recommend a visit. Paul & Nikki

Real shame as pub has changed dramatically with good food and decent beers, however been in there 3 times in last few weeks and they have shut around 9pm even with plenty of people in there. What's the point of going for a few beers after work.
