I had the pleasure of attending the first of Radiance Retreats which was held at the Avalon on Broughton Hall Estate. From entering the place, being greeted by the wonderful Radiance team, I immediately felt a sense of calm. The facilities were out of this world . Photos do not capture the extremely calming and healing energy within the Avalon. Aside from the amazing venue, the day started with the most wonderful yoga class. The room was floor to ceiling glass overlooking nothing but pure natural beauty. The yoga teacher was incredible. It was the perfect way to start the day. We then went onto the relaxation room which was beautiful and calm with a lovely fireplace and calming music and the most inspiring collection of wellbeing books. Fiona had produced the most wonderful journals for us to write in also to be able to reflect. We were then treated to the most delicious plant based lunch following which we then made use of the facilities which were like nothing else I’ve ever experienced in any other spa. The sauna , steam room and pool were just wow! The attention to detail to envoke a sense of calm throughout was second to none. I was then treated to a lava shell massage which was divine. Hot lava shells bringing a sense of true peace and relaxation which was much needed. The day ended with a sound bath and yoga Nidra. The perfect end to a perfect day. I cannot wait for the next date. The thought and attention to detail that went into this day was wonderful. Highly recommend being part of these days in future if you want a day to recharge, reset and restore. Thank you to the Radiance Team for looking after us so well for the whole day.
