At RabbleChorus, we have a community choir that welcomes anyone who loves to sing! Our choir is non-audition and we perform a variety of music styles, including pop, rock, folk, and world music. We like to keep things fun and engaging for our members, so we change up our repertoire regularly to keep things fresh.How often do you rehearse and perform, and what are the expectations for choir members?
We rehearse once a week on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. We typically have two performance seasons a year, with concerts in the summer and winter. However, we also have occasional performances throughout the year, such as charity events or festivals. We expect our members to attend rehearsals regularly, learn their parts, and contribute positively to the group dynamic.What is the cost to join the choir and are there any additional fees for performances or materials?
The cost to join RabbleChorus is £5 per rehearsal, paid on a termly basis. We also ask for a one-time membership fee of £10 to cover administrative costs. There is no audition process to join RabbleChorus - we welcome anyone who loves to sing! Simply come along to one of our rehearsals and see if it's a good fit for you.
