Be aware and my advice, do not book. Had skip collected yesterday and was left with a damaged driveway. Spoke to RS skips manager. They do not accept liability apparently, as stated in the T&C. I provided a picture that clearly shows damage caused by the skip and paint work from the skip left behind. I was then told cardboard should have been put down to prevent this from happening. This was not stated to us beforehand as we clearly would have done that. I have used several skips in the past and not one has caused damage. Would never book again and shame on RS skips for washing your hands of the matter.

Husband phoned and ordered a skip, which was expensive compared to other companies in the area we have since found out, phoned up within minutes to cancel it (delivery was for another day may I add) only to be told he was going to be charged £45+ VAT. Husband tried to phone them to reason with them only to basically be told ‘oh well, your still being charged’ how can you justify fining some one for a hire that was booked for a matter of minutes?! Their reply on google to my husband stated he was ‘bitter’ but a company with no compassion or customer service skills isn’t a company I want to give my money to.

Cannot fault the service provided. I had an 8 yard skip delivered for £270.00. The skip came with an opening hatch on the front allowing me to wheelbarrow 8 yards of mixed construct (concrete, bricks, slabs and rubble). They delivered early in the morning and removed the skip the day after asking them to collect. They could not give a collection time, but called to say when the driver was on his way. No issue with the drivers, who were all polite and helpful, and just got on with their job. You are only allowed to keep the skip for 14 days thought.
