HYGGE ❤️ I had the best weekend away in Hygge! The van has been beautifully converted to an amazing standard. It is equipped with everything that you will need for your trip away. With a very comfortable double bed! I was also left a lovely welcome basket of milk, orange juice and breakfast items! I found the van easy to drive, although I hadn’t driven one for a long time. Hygges owners were very friendly and helpful. There is a helpful video that is sent to you prior to picking up the van that explains everything that you should need to know about Hygge. Again, when I collected Hygge the owners could not have been nicer. I’m already planning my next adventure with Hygge 😄

Absolutely loved our holiday away in Deets for 5 nights. The van was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend using Deets for a future break away. Mark & Lisa are also both very friendly people and made the process of hiring Deets easy. The dog also loved the trip as well

I spent a very happy and comfortable seven nights touring north Wales in Deets and I was really sad when I had to give her back at the end of my trip. She is a lovely van: thoughtfully and cleverly designed, beautifully built and full of character and charm. She was well prepared when I picked her up. The impressive systems all worked flawlessly, particularly the incredible electrical system which always had enough power to do whatever was needed. The antenna and wifi router worked brilliantly too and I wouldn't have wanted to be without it. Lisa and Mark are very friendly and helpful and provided all the information I needed to make the most of the van including a really helpful series of how-to videos. And there is also a fascinating series of videos made by the woman who originally built it so I really felt I knew Deets before I met her.

Sassenach and her owner, Rowan are absolutely phenomenal. We took Sassenach to walk the Cornwall coast and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The van runs like a dream, is exceptionally comfortable and has all the thoughtful amenities you can imagine. We enjoyed cooking in the van, playing board games, and having the freedom to move around Cornwall as needed. Rowan is friendly, helpful and very quick to respond to any queries. Would rent Sassenach again in a heartbeat, cannot recommend it more highly.

Sassenach. Where do I begin? We didn’t really know what to expect but in a nut shell- she was the dream. Rowan (the owner) was so unbelievably helpful, informative and reassuring when going through how to operate Sassenach and made the whole thing so simple. She is properly kitted out with everything you could possibly need on a camper van holiday (the only extras we had were camping chairs) and is so much easier to drive than you think (she’s pretty chunky). It was worth every penny and she looks exactly like the pictures on the Quirky Campers website. FYI- she has solar panels and a big water tank so didn’t even need an electric pitch on campsites. Had an amazing week, even in the rain, and will be booking again!

My partner and I hired Sassenach in March 2020 for a 3 day trip to the Isle of Wight and had the best weekend we’ve ever had! We were fortunate enough to be the first customers and the van was in amazing condition. Every possible item we could have needed was provided. Rowan the owner was very quick to respond to any queries while we were away. We were not experienced “van lifers” but have really got the bug after spending a weekend with Sassenach and would definitely hire this van again. Very smooth to drive and we adjusted to driving a larger vehicle in no time. The van is the perfect size for 2-3 adults or a couple plus a child. It would have room for a travel cot and car seat if needed. There is enough cooking equipment to make stove top meals with refrigeration as well. The owners were also kind enough to provide a welcome basket – this was much appreciated thank you! The van’s location in Hampshire makes it ideal for exploring the Isle of Wight, New Forest or the South West. Since there is no bathroom, we opted to stay at a campsite with showers for an easy first van trip. We stayed at Grange Farm Campsite on the south coast of the IoW and would highly recommend this for a perfect relaxing weekend plan. Thank you so much Rowan and family for an incredible holiday.
